Recruitment & Retention Workshop
PAASSC is very excited to host our first workshop for Chinese Immersion Administrators in the Bay Area. The event will take place on Thursday, November 13th, at the African American Art & Cultural Complex.
At this event we will engage administrators around the discussion of outreach to encourage and recruit more African American families to enroll youth in a Chinese Immersion school setting. We will also look at the issues necessary to sustain and retain African American youth within their program. Our first workshop is limited to administrators in the Bay Area. Based on the success and feedback of this workshop we hope to expand our program to include Administrators throughout the U.S.
