Free This Weekend: African American Shakespeare Company Mini-Performance

Looking for a great family activity in the Bay Area this weekend? Look no further. As posted to the African American Shakespeare Company’s Facebook page and other social media:

This Saturday, 8/11, African-American Shakespeare Company will be performing a Shakespeare Scene Sampler at the Neighborhood Block Party for Salesforce Transit Center Opening! This is a free event and is open to the public.

The performance will be at the Rooftop Park Amphitheater from 4-5pm and we will be performing scenes from:

• Much Ado About Nothing
• Romeo and Juliet
• A Midsummer Night’s Dream
• Richard III
• Taming of the Shrew

Bring your friends & family and enjoy some Shakespeare! ☀️😎

Salesforce Transit Center is located at 425 Mission Street in San Francisco. AACC’s performance is the final activity in a day full of family-friendly fun. The opening festivities begin at noon and include yoga, Zumba, DIY crafting, and a Filipino dance and drum troupe.
